Pastoral Team
At Nancy Reuben Primary School, we provide outstanding pastoral care and support to all our pupils and work very closely with all our parents to ensure our pupils are safe and happy. Pupils know they can speak to their Class or Kodesh Teacher or any member of staff listed below at any time if they experience a problem at school.
Communication between home and school is a key element in a child’s well- being. At the Information Evening which we hold at the start of each year, parents are reminded how important it is to inform us should there be any issues at home that may be troubling your child.
Moral and ethical issues are dealt with in PSHE and Kodesh lessons and assemblies.
Our Head Teacher, Rabbi Conway, who is also responsible for Pastoral Care, takes great personal interest regarding the pastoral needs of every child from Playgroup to Year 6 and spends time daily in every class including the playground, corridors and lunch hall and he knows the children very well by name.

CPOMS - THE MARKET LEADING safeguarding, pastoral and wellbeing solution
In 2018, the Head Teacher introduced an online platform called CPOMS. On this platform, all staff log any welfare, safeguarding, child protection, behaviour, academic, social or emotional concerns. Every staff member has their own login details. These entries are seen in real time by the Head Teacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team as every entry triggers an immediate email alert. Senior Leaders have an elevated form of access. In this way, we are able to ensure that nothing recorded goes unnoticed and that every concern is dealt with swiftly with all follow-up actions recorded as well.
