At Nancy Reuben Primary School, we recognise that the integration of secular studies with Kodesh serves to strengthen both curricula.
The Kodesh Curriculum is an integral part of the whole school curriculum and the two are closely aligned at every opportunity. The Kodesh Teacher and Class Teacher work closely together to ensure the best for every child in their shared class.
Kodesh is central to the curriculum at NRPS and we aim to ensure that our children have a solid foundation in all areas of Jewish Knowledge. We believe it is of utmost importance that children develop a love of Judaism and a strong commitment to Torah and Mitzvot. Our Alumni Statement sets out the core principles we hope a child who leaves NRPS will have as a point of reference to guide them through their lives https://www.nrps.co.uk/about-us/nrps-alumni-statement
"The Kodesh curriculum (Jewish studies) is strong and promotes pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development well. Pupils learn about, for example, respecting and valuing people and the difference between right and wrong" - Ofsted October 2017
