Inclusion and send (Special educational needs and disabilities)

At Nancy Reuben Primary School, we are committed to providing an inclusive education in which every pupil is valued, supported and given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We recognise that children may have a wide range of strengths and needs, and that some pupils may require additional or different provision at different points during their time at school.

We aim to identify needs early, remove barriers to learning and provide appropriate support through high-quality classroom teaching, reasonable adjustments and targeted provision. We follow the graduated assess–plan–do–review approach and work closely with pupils, parents, carers and relevant professionals when planning and reviewing support.

Our SENCO is Mrs Daniela Grossman, Deputy Headteacher – Inclusion and Pastoral. She can be contacted through the school office on 020 8202 5646 or at daniela.grossman@nrps.co.uk.

Further information about how we identify, assess and support pupils with SEND, including arrangements for pupils with EHC plans, transitions and complaints, can be found in our SEND Policy and SEN Information Report.

Barnet’s Local Offer provides information about education, health, social care and other services available to children and young people with SEND and their families.
