Special Programmes

Below are some of the new exciting programmes that Nancy Reuben will be participating in during the school year 2018/2019.  These programmes not only enhance the children's knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live, but also develops our Middot Curriculum and supports our British Values Curriculum.

Tzedek

Aims of the Tzedek Twinning programme:

• To develop a self-awareness as global citizens and explore the big issues of our world;
• To develop a positive attitude to difference by communicating with children who have different cultural and religious perspectives; and
• To put into practice the value of b’zelem Elohim – of respecting all human beings.

Year 4 will be commencing the Tzedek Twinning Programme from November.

JOY  - Joining Old and Young 

Mipnei Seiva Takum V'Hadrta Pnei Zaken   -  You shall rise before the aged and show honour to the elder      Vayikra (Leviticus 19:32)

Our Nursery Class is part of the JOY programme a special inter generational programme Joining Old and Young which brings together older members and children from our Nursery. 

Founded by Jenny Kossow, the programme brings together those at either end of the age spectrum for 45 minutes of playing, singing, talking and learning with and from each other.  

Nancy Reuben partnered with the Holocaust Survivors Centre in Hendon and our Nursery children visited there during the school year.

The programme teaches that whatever age you are, you are never too young or too old to learn and teach each other to bring about so much joy.
