Outstanding Pastoral Care at NRPS
At Nancy Reuben Primary School, we aim to provide outstanding pastoral care and support to all our pupils and work very closely with all our parents to ensure our pupils are safe and happy. Pupils know they can speak to their Class or Kodesh Teacher or any member of staff listed below at any time if they experience a problem at school. In October 2017, 91% of parents told Ofsted their child feels safe at school and 90% of parents said their child is well looked after.
Communication between home and school is a key element in a child’s well- being. At the Information Evening which we hold at the start of each year, parents are reminded how important it is to inform us should there be any issues at home that may be troubling your child.
Moral and ethical issues are dealt with in PSHE lessons and assemblies. Circle Time is used to reaffirm how important empathy and listening skills are.
We track pupil progress carefully covering academic progress and pastoral concerns, ensuring that we are aware of any issues, enabling us to work as a team ensuring every single child’s needs are known and catered for.
The Head Teacher takes great personal interest regarding the pastoral needs of every child from Playgroup to Year 6 and spends time in every class getting to know the children.

Supporting Pupil Well-Being and Mental Health
